ABSENTEE BALLOTS AVAILABLE for November 4th Referendum Election: Absentee Ballots are available NOW for the Statewide Referendum on Tuesday, November 4th There are several ways registered voters can request ballot:· Vote early at Town Office – voters may receive and vote a ballot from the Town Clerk during Town Office hours.· Request a ballot by calling the Town Office during regular hours – 587-2911. Clerk must speak to voter, family members cannot request via phone.· Fill out an application to take a ballot with you for yourself or an immediate family member.· Request a ballot electronically by following the link on the homepage of our website: www.mercermaine.comUpon request, your ballot will be mailed to the address you designated on your application. After voting, seal your ballot in the envelope provided, sign the envelope where indicated and mail or bring back to Town Office (Ballot Dropbox Available beside front door). All ballots must be in the possession of the Clerk by 8 PM on Election Day, November 4th.If you are not registered to vote you may register anytime (including Election Day) with the Town Clerk/Registrar. Chicken BBQ

TIME TO GET YOUR TICKETS!!!!!!!

Our 4th annual FREE Chicken BBQ will be Saturday, August 10th from 12pm to 2pm.  Meal tickets are required.  FREE for taxpayers of Mercer, all others will be $10/person.  Tickets available through July 31st.  Live music will be available.  Merchandise with the newly revealed Town logo (reveal will be done at the Select Board meeting of July 25th) will be on display.  (We will make every attempt to sell items and/or take orders, if we have enough volunteers.)  Shaw Library will be hosting a book sale in the Solarium and will have an open house showing the community their new remote workspace.  Mark your calendars.  We look forward to seeing and visiting with our wonderful community of Mercer, Maine.
