The Mercer Select Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 23rd at 6:00 p.m. to discuss adopting the General Assistance Ordinance dated September 2024 and prepared by Maine Municipal Association for local municipalities.  This ordinance includes all legislative law changes made to general assistance law.  The Board will also be approving the appendices which are updated on an annual basis.  The public is invited to attend this hearing.
