Absentee Voting Last Days: If you want to vote by absentee OR if you want to register to vote in advance of Election Day, the Town Office will be open Wednesday, October 30th from 8:00am to 6:00pm AND Thursday, October 31st from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.   *********************************************************************** You may vote by absentee on Monday, November 4th ONLY if there is a special circumstance that is preventing you to come on Election Day. (your cat having a cold is not a special circumstance)   Your special circumstance MUST include one of the following: 1. Unexpected absence from the municipality during the entire time the polls are open on Election Day. 2. Physical or mental disability. 3. Inability to travel to the polls if the voter is a resident of an island ward or a treatment facility. 5. Being a caregiver who is unable to attend the polls due to the incapacity or illness of another person. Cal Ripken Board Member Needed

Mercer has a tri-town agreement (Mercer, Smithfield, and Norridgewock) with Skowhegan Cal Ripken and they need a new board member from Mercer.

We need a Mercer representative to promote youth recreation leagues.  The ideal candidate will be someone that has school age children interested in youth sports.
