This is located inside, and only available during open hours. See Julie, the town clerk. Please limit to 10 gallons per visit. Please clean up any spills so nobody gets hurt. Water test is posted in the upper right of the bulletin board as you enter the building... it's not the best but it passes.Monday 10am-7pm, Tues., Weds. and Thurs 9am-4pm.The Norridgewock Town Manager has offered a one time voucher for water at Hannaford in Skowhegan to Mercer residents who have no drinking water. Contact the Norridgewock Town office, or stop in for more info.Prior to this event we were given a pallet of Poland Spring water, we have a small amount left. The select board has allowed me to distribute it. To be transparent, it was given to us to pass out at town events, so this needed a discussion. Please only for people with NO drinking water at this time. I am working to get more for everyone who's low, but let's focus on those who are out for now.I will be at the Community Center tonight (Wed) at 6PM to give it out. I'll stay until 7 or until it's gone. First come, first served. One case per household. Mercer Resident's only. Sorry, but being so scarce at the moment, if I don't know you personally please bring something stating you are a resident. Tax bill, registration, power bill, anything. There are only 30 cases available today. If you have no way to get there, contact me before 6pm and I'll put a case aside and deliver it.I am looking into more long term solutions since there is no rain predicted, and we need about 10" before the ground freezes.Any plausible ideas on drinkable water is welcome.Please check in on any neighbors you know are not on social media, and let us know if they are dry.The State EMA has asked if your well is low or dry that you fill out a quick well survey so they can get a good picture of how bad the issue is.
