Request for Bids – Rome Road Ditching and Berm Removal: The Select Board is accepting proposals to ditch sections of Rome Road and remove berms along portions of Rome Road.  Bids are due by Monday, September 27th at 3:00 p.m.  The Board will open bids at a workshop on Tuesday, September 28th at 10:00 a.m.


Public Hearing scheduled for September 9th to discuss new General Assistance Ordinance and Appendices A-H


The Mercer Select Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 9th at 6:00 p.m. to discuss adopting the General Assistance Ordinance dated August 2021 and prepared by Maine Municipal Association for local municipalities.  This ordinance includes all legislative law changes made to general assistance law.  The Board will also be approving the appendicies which are updated on an annual basis.  The public is invited to attend this hearing.
